Who we are and What we do
Bobcat Youth football is managed under the Fountain City Recreation Commission (FCRC). What does that mean? FCRC is a non-profit organization and is managed by volunteers, who work diligently to provide a safe and quality athletic experience for our youth athletes. We currently provide Baseball, Basketball, Cheerleading and Football youth programs in the Fountain City community. Our teams play in the Knoxville YAC Youth Athletic Conference and MAC Middle School Athletic Conference. These games are played at area high schools.
Fountain City Bobcat Football
Bobcat youth football is committed to developing and preparing our athletes to compete at a high level of competition around the Knoxville area. We are working to instill work ethic and grit into our athletes, but also keeping the focus on having fun and preparing them for the next step in their football journey.
League Overview
- 5 years old - 1st Grade
- Games will be played at local high schools on Saturdays
- Practices will be held at Gresham Middle School or Inskip Ball Park
- 2nd - 5th Grade - age group will be determined by the grade level the player is in during the upcoming school year
- Fees will include Helmet, Pads, Game Day Jersey all equipment will be returned at end of season.
- Practices will be held at Gresham Middle School
- Typical practice schedule is Monday, Tuesday and Thursday
- Games will be played at local high schools on Saturdays
- 6th - 8th graders
- Fees will include Helmet, Pads, Game Day Jersey all equipment will be returned at end of season
