Background Screening and Badge Policy

Thank you for volunteering to coach at Fountain City Rec. Youth Sports.  Please take a moment to submit your background check with the City of Knoxville's Parks and Recreation by going to the following link: https://knoxvilleparksandrec.quickapp.pro/apply/applicant/new/14930_ref=qap_session_614fea9aa47685ec9737bbd23e696727acc67455c58221e241a3ba652f560220
Please click on the Youth Coach-Fountain City tab.  Upon completing the background check, please email emily.tucker@fountaincitysports.org with the following information.
  1. Name submitted on background form (legal name)
  2. Name as you would like it printed on your badge
  3. A headshot
  4. If known which age division and Head coach you are working with
All volunteer coaches must pass a background check every 2 years, wear an ID badge to signify that this has been completed, and sign the safety documents per State law. Please note that Fountain City Recreation prints badges for our coaches.  If you have any questions regarding background check status or badges, please contact Emily Tucker at emily.tucker@fountaincitysports.org.
