Wes Owen:
My name is Wes Owen and I have been serving as President of FCRC since 2022. My wife, Cassie, and I are raising our family (Sadie & Jackson) in the community and many of my childhood memories are centered around growing up playing baseball at the park. Our family has either played or coached at the park since its early days, and I am proud to be able to continue this tradition.
Dustin Cowan:
My name is Dustin Cowan, and I proudly serve as the Vice President and Director of Baseball for Fountain City Recreation Commission. Over the past four years, I've had the joy of coaching baseball, a sport that both my sons love and actively participate here at the park. I have been a dedicated Commissioner since 2022. My commitment to our park and its programs stems from a deep passion for sports, giving back to my community, and creating a positive learning environment for our youth. I'm looking forward to another great season at FCRC!
Elizabeth Smith:
My name is Elizabeth Smith, Secretary of the Fountain City Recreation Commission since 2021. My husband, Dylan, and I have three children. I grew up playing ball at Fountain City and all three of my children either have played or currently play in our leagues (baseball, basketball, and now football), so it is a very special place to me. I enjoy volunteering my time on the Commission and helping our community’s youth find passion in sports!
Shawn Tucker:
I’m Shawn Tucker, a commissioner for the Fountain City Recreation Commission and a member of the Baseball Committee and Grounds Committee. My wife, Emily, and I have two boys who play in the FCRC baseball league. I have lived in Fountain City almost my entire life. I’m thankful for the opportunity to volunteer my time in a way that positively impacts the lives of the children in our community. You can often find me at the ballpark coaching one of my boys’ teams or working on various field or facility maintenance tasks. I’ve been a commissioner since 2022.
Robbie Cook:
I’m Robbie Cook, your Basketball Coordinator here at FCRC since 2023. Alongside, my wife, Jennifer, and our two children reside in the heart of Fountain City and attend Central Baptist Church of Fountain City. My FCRC coaching journey began with tee-ball, but my true passion lies in basketball. Currently, I serve as the league’s basketball coordinator and volunteer as a coach, striving to create an enjoyable experience for our families. Whether you’re a boy or girl, seasoned player or just starting out, our league welcomes you to join us on the court! Remember, it’s not just about the game and developing skills—it’s about recreation, community, and building experiences that last a lifetime.
Paula Hodge:
I’m Paula Hodge, Cheer Director for Fountain City Recreation Commission. I grew up in Fountain City and spent many summers attending camp at the FC Rec Center. My husband, TJ, and I are both Central Grads - we love this community! We have two children, Garrett and Gabi, and both have participated in Youth Sports in Fountain City including baseball, basketball, football and cheer.
I grew up cheering Baby Bobcats, Gresham Middle School, as well as Central High School. I have coached a fabulous group of cheerleaders for the past three seasons and became part of the Cheer Commission in 2023. Likewise, I am so blessed to be part of this program and truly believe we are training the next generation of Bobcats!
Justin Sanders:
My name is Justin Sanders, and I’m one of the commissioners for the Fountain City Recreation Commission. I’m a member of the Baseball Committee and Director of the newly establish Girls Softball division. My wife, Alishia, and I have 2 children who both play in our leagues. I have been a member of the commission and coaching in the league since the Spring of 2022. I am passionate about coaching and instilling the values of hard work and sportsmanship in the kids I coach.
David Hensley:
My name is David Hensley, I am serving as the Football Director at Fountain City Recreation Commission since 2024. My family and I have called Fountain City home since 2010. I have coached basketball the last few seasons and will shift my focus to coaching football. I’m grateful to be able to help provide a competitive football program that aims to grow our young athletes in character, skill, and grit. We hope to inspire these athletes to learn to work hard for their goals and dreams.
Lynn Parrott:
I am Lynn Parrott, serving as the Director of Concessions at the Fountain City Recreation Commission. My husband played ball at this park back in the early 60s. Fast-forward just a few years, and our four grandchildren all play ball here at the park. Because this park is so important to Fountain City's kids, I became a commissioner. I want to do my part to ensure that children continue to enjoy this park for many years to come. After all, what’s more American than a day together at the ballpark ?!
Jayme Willoughby
My name is Jayme Willoughby, equipment manager for the Fountain City Recreation Commission. My wife Tara and I have two children. Our son has played in one of our leagues since he was 3. You can find me most nights at the park, either coaching a game or helping out in other ways. It is an honor to be able to serve this great community, and it’s amazing young people.
